STUDENTS' CLUBS
CLUB ACTIVITIES Education is a
means of making children capable of becoming active, responsible, productive,
and caring members of society and these skills are imparted both within the
classroom and without. Children learn in a variety of ways- through experience,
making and doing things, experimentation, reading, discussion, asking,
listening, thinking and reflecting, expressing oneself in speech, movement or
writing-both individually and with others. They require opportunities of all
these kinds in the course of their development. Such an opportunity is provided through the medium of clubs
wherein the children are free to express themselves untrammeled by the concerns

NAEP- A REPORT On 29 July, an
NAEP programme was held for boys during the 8th and 9th
periods respectively. The class was conducted by Mr. T. Murali in XII-A class
room. The class comprised boys of both XI and XII .The topic was LIFE-SKILLS. It
was a highly interactive and interesting session with volley of questions being
asked and answered for. Mr. Murali described the various problems faced by
adolescents during their teens. These were some of the points highlighted during
the session: Self respect and self- awareness Creative thinking Critical thinking Emotional change Physical change Positive thinking The class is
indeed indebted to Mr. Murali and expresses their gratitude for a lively and
interactive session. The session for
the girls of class XI and XII was conducted in XI-A classroom simultaneously.
The class was conducted by S.Mary who has joined the school recently. Hence, the
class had an Ice-breaking session wherein the participants sat in pair and gave
an introduction about their partner in the following aspects: Name Hobby Ambition Strength Weakness One good quality One bad habit The session was
really useful as the participants finally started unwinding and unconsciously
started revealing a few problems. Few of them lacked self- esteem and self-
confidence, while a few weren’t sure of what they desired. A few had a dislike
for the mother-figure- something very natural for an adolescent passing through
the phase. The session ended promisingly with participants eagerly waiting for
the next session. It was equally productive to the nodal teacher as the teacher
got an insight into the problems and difficulties faced by the participants
which the teacher would start addressing in the due course. “Integrity is doing the right thing, even if no one is watching.” INTEGRITY CLUB It is an effort
undertaken by the Airport Authority of India to inculcate good habits and values

firm and a bold step. The following activities have been chalked out for the
